Loyalty programme for restaurants, without an app
Lecy is a loyalty programme for restaurants that works with an NFC tag placed on the counter or on the table: the customer holds up their phone and gets a point in two seconds, with no app to download and without the restaurant having to connect its till.
Designed for service: nothing to do during the rush, nothing to explain, nothing to stamp.
The problem with loyalty programmes in restaurants
In a restaurant, the loyalty moment is the worst possible one: the bill. The customer wants to leave, a queue is waiting behind them, the waiter is moving on. Asking for a phone number, waiting for a text code or having an app downloaded at that precise moment means asking everyone to wait for a deferred benefit.
The known result: the programme is offered the first few days, then the team stops offering it because it slows down service. The subscription keeps being charged, but nobody uses it any more.
What an NFC tag changes
With Lecy, the team has nothing to do. The tag sits on the counter, next to the payment terminal, or on the tables. The customer holds their phone to it as they put their bank card away, a gesture they have just made. Two seconds later, the point is added.
No handling on the waiter’s side, no question to ask, no time added at the till. That is what keeps a loyalty programme in use after the third month.
On the tables or at the counter
You can place a tag on every table rather than a single one at the counter. Every guest who ate can then earn a point on their own counter: a table of four builds loyalty with four customers, not one payer.
You set a minimum delay between two points (six hours, say) so that the same customer does not collect several points on a single meal.
Reward the visit, not the bill
By default, Lecy counts visits, not amounts. It is a choice: counting amounts means reading your sales, so integrating with your till, so a technical project, a supplier and the risk of a breakdown on a Friday night.
Counting visits rewards exactly what a restaurant wants to reward: regularity. The lunchtime customer who comes back three times a week is worth more than the exceptional Saturday-night bill.
The same tag for Google reviews
At the moment the customer gets their point, they are satisfied and their phone is already in their hand: it is the best moment to invite them to leave a Google review. The Complete plan shows that invitation on the point page, along with your social networks and your news.
Unhappy customers can leave anonymous feedback that reaches you without going through a public review.

Frequently asked questions
Do my waiters have anything to do?
No. The tag is passive: the customer uses it alone. No handling on the terminal, no typing, no stamp. At most, the waiter can point to the tag during the first days.
Does Lecy need to connect to my till or my ordering software?
No, neither. Lecy plugs into neither your till, nor your ordering software, nor your payment terminals. That is what makes it possible to install on a Tuesday lunchtime without stopping service.
Can everyone at the same table earn a point?
Yes, if you place a tag on the table and allow it. Every guest who ate can then earn a point on their own counter.
Does the size of the bill affect the points?
By default no: Lecy rewards the visit, not the amount. Basing the reward on the amount spent would require an integration with your till system.
What about takeaway and delivery?
Takeaway works like eating in: the tag is on the collection counter. Delivery, however, does not allow proof of visit; the customer is not in front of the tag.
