What gives nothing

A photo of the tagNothing to scan: the link only exists at the moment of the tap.
A shared linkIt has expired: it was good once, for one phone.
Two taps in a rowThe delay between two points is yours to set.

Every read of the tag generates a unique, encrypted link. One point = one real visit.

03

Proof

A point is a visit. Never a remote scan.

  • Every tap generates a unique, encrypted, short-lived link
  • A photo of the tag or a shared link gives nothing
  • No point added by the team, except as a tracked exception

Loyalty, at the till. No app.

The customer makes the payment gesture one more time, against the tag. One point, the proof they were there, and nothing to ask of anyone. To our knowledge, the simplest loyalty solution there is.

Read the case study

The gesture already exists.

And loyalty pays, when customers actually join. Three studies.

France · 2024

Nearly 7 in 10 card payments at the point of sale are contactless. Holding a phone to the counter is an acquired gesture.

Banque de France, “La numérisation des paiements : une tendance de fond en France et en Europe”, 2024
  • 7 / 10card payments made contactless, in shops
  • +90%phone payments in 2023, after +137% in 2022
  • 1 / 10in-store payments already made with a phone

Journal of Consumer Research · 2006

A card with visible progress is completed by 34% of customers, against 19% without a marker. The customer who sees where they stand comes back.

Nunes and Drèze, “The Endowed Progress Effect”, Journal of Consumer Research, 2006
  • 34%of cards completed when progress is visible
  • 19%without a progress marker

Loyalty Report · 2022 and 2023

A consumer belongs to nearly 18 programmes and uses only half of them. Every extra step loses people; every programme in use brings them back.

Bond, The Loyalty Report 2022 and 2023
  • 64%of programme members buy more often
  • 79%keep buying because of the programme
  • ≈ 18programmes per consumer, half of them in use

Simple, by construction.

Nothing to install, nothing to type, nothing to cheat. And a programme that carries your name.

  • Nothing to install

The tag arrives already linked to your shop. You place it at the till. No integration, no screen, no wifi.

  • Impossible to cheat

Every tap opens a unique, short-lived link. A photo of the tag or a shared link gives nothing.

  • Anonymous by default

No name, no number: a passkey confirmed with Face ID or a fingerprint, and that is all.

  • Your points, your colours

The programme carries your name, your logo, your rules. Never Lecy’s.

Frequently asked questions

How many points per visit, and who decides?

One point per visit, proven by the tap on the tag. The reward threshold, the reward itself, the minimum delay between two points and the validity of points are set in your dashboard. The amount spent does not count: it is the visit you reward.

My customer already uses Lecy at her hairdresser: what happens at my shop?

Her passkey works at your shop too: nothing to recreate, she holds up her phone and her first point is there. But your points are yours: one programme per shop, in your colours, never mixed with the hairdresser’s.

Can a customer see their points without coming back to the till?

Yes. On lecytap.com, “I am already a customer” opens their account with their passkey, Face ID or fingerprint: their points at your shop, and the reward coming up.

How do I move from my stamp card to the tag?

You set the rule. The simplest: the tag takes over, the card stays accepted for as long as you decide, and a customer with stamps gets them back as points. That is what the juice bar in the case study did: 162 customers signed up in three weeks, without breaking habits.

How long do points stay valid?

You set the validity period, in your programme. The customer always sees where they stand on their page, and what is left before the reward.
